[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils that BzzAgent sent to try are the best mechanical pencil that I have ever used. The package of 5 mechanical pencils come with a tube of replacement lead and a tube of replacement erasers. I like to separate school supplies by color coding them for each of my children. I love the colors that the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils come in, and I can easily divvy them up among my children. The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have the look of a pen and also have a finger grip to better hold the pencil while you are writing. These pencils write so smooth! I am very picky when it comes to the type of pens and pencils that I use. And these pencils fit the bill. I've been using one of these pencils (the purple one, of course, since purple is my favorite color) at work to take inventory of the equipment and supplies in my office. They erase cleanly, which is important for my children while they are doing their school work. And it makes my work appear more professional since I can erase mistakes cleanly. I will not only be buying these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils for my children for school, but for myself to use at work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been using these pencils for the last couple of weeks and I am impressed with the quality and durability of these mechanical pencils. It is convenient that it comes with extra refills so the pencils have lasted a lot longer than if they were using another brand of mechanical pencils. My kids still enjoy using them so I will for sure buy these pencils in the future. Thank fully they last quite long so I will not have to buy them for a while.

I don't use pencils much (stay at home mom and all) but I will every now and then reach for one of these over everything else I have. They write smoothly and the lead lasts a good while. I did give them to my girls for school this year and they won't touch the regular pencils you have to sharpen, unless they are using the BIC Xtra Fun pencils I received as well. These are a great investment.

When they came in the mail the first things I noticed sand loved was the vibrant colors they come in very pretty!!! When I opened them and began writing with them I was very impressed by how durable the led is compared to other mechanical pencils I have used in the past and the grip is very comfortable to write with!!! Overall they are a great product!!! I think that Bic velocity mechanical pencils are superior to others on the market and as a mom of 4 children I have bought and used quite a few!!! These pencils write very smoothly I highly recommend them!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So excited to receive my new Bzzkit! My kids loved these pencil before they even used them because of the bright colors. I immediately noticed the extra lead and thought how I've never had that included with any of the pencil packs we usually purchase for back to school. How handy! While my kids broke them out to start drawing with, I used one with my word search book. Unfortunately, they don't write any easier on the newsprint paper than regular pencils. That's a huge pet peeve of mine - having to use pens for those! The lead does work wonderfully on regular white computer paper, though. The eraser did not smear which will be great for the kids' assignments when school starts. They are already the go-to pencils for my son and daughter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have always preferred mechanical pencils for school. In the past I would choose the Bic 24 pack and make them last all year. I have one child that insists on the more expensive mechanical pencils. She loved the Bic Velocity pencils. The lead didn't break easily and the eraser is great. I don't really think there needs to be a plastic cap on the eraser. It will be easily lost which is really no big deal. We loved the colors and the pencil grip. This is one pencil that I wouldn't mind paying more for.

Summer homework packets

He used the pencil first in case of any mistakes and traced with a marker. This pencil wrote so smoothly and was so easy to erase without any eraser residue. The same applies for his other summer assignments especially the math where some erasing was needed a bit. Other pencils erasers leave the eraser rubber smudge sometimes that we both hate. He hates having to do work in the summer but it sure made it easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every year I buy close to a hundred mechanical pencils at back to school time because I have five school aged kids...that's a lot of pencils. This year I saved the BIC Velocity pencils for the beginning of school and told them to not loose them. Guess what? They STILL have the same two pencils I gave them each to try out because they LOVE these pencils. When someone wants to borrow a pencil they simply say no. I'm not even kidding. I don't think a product can get a better endorsement than that.
