[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teens have had a chance to use the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. Out of 6 children 3 are in high school and each got their own pack. The first comment from them was sweet comes with extra erasers and lead. After the first week all three of them are excited still and liking that the lead is not too thick at 0.7mm that you get thick lines but it is thick enough to not break with the slightest pressure. One daughter was even using the pencil on canvas and it could handle the rough texture of that without being destroyed. Thank you BIC for making a mechanical pencil that is worthy of even an artist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally have never been a big fan of mechanical pencils. Mainly because I press rather hard when writing & the lead usually breaks but not these! The grip is great & I have yet to break one. My daughter loves them & so does my husband. Definitely will be buying more!

Top pencil for back to school

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my daughter is ready for schoolwork just to use these pencils. The fun barrel colors give her a choice in what color pencil she wishes to use. The lead writes smoothly and dark, not requiring hard pressure. The eraser removes all marks not leaving shadows. BIC Velocity mechanical pencils have outdone themselves. Thanks for making my daughter excited for school to start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are big improvement to the generic mechanical pencils. The lead holds up much better, breaks rarely and is retractable. The eraser has a lid to protect it and makes it easier if you need to throw it in your bag. The pack of pencils also comes with extra lead and erasers, so its really a great value. I would definitely purchase.

Perfect Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First let me say that our family loves mechanical pencils for the sheer ease of use. No sharpening pencils, etc. However we have a problem with my kids destroying the lead or the pencils themselves somehow. These Velocity mechanical pencils are GREAT though. The lead is durable, not cheap and doesn't break often. They write so smoothly and erase really, really well. My kids LOVE how well they write, and they love the great colors that are available. I find my girls rushing to grab these pencils now vs pens (which make a huge mess). Thank you BIC for this awesome product!!! We will be purchasing many for school time.
