[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are great. They are comfortable to write with, the lead doesn't fall out, and the erasers work well. My kids also love the fun colors and have each picked out their favorites. Absolutely nothing wrong with these pencils. Not really a flaw, but I would love more of a variety of colors. My son wants a green :) *I received this product free from Bic in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had my two children age 13 and 11 try out BIC Velocity pencils. My 13 year old said she loves how she can easily grip the pencil. She says it writes smooth and erasers better then the standard BIC pencil. My 11 year old says he likes the cool colors best. But he also said his hand don't hurt well writting. My kids approval is worth spending the extra money.

She presses hard when writing and the lead does not break. Not to mention the vibrant colors they come in! Perfect for her bright and colorful personality!
