[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap. They feel very comfortable in my hand. My teen and tween kids like them also. Both are boys so they took the blue, yellow and orange and left me with the pink and purple ;) I was very pleased with the erasers, since they don't seem to leave tiny shreds" of eraser everywhere after using. They do seem to get used up pretty quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a pen and pencil junkie. Thanks to BzzAgent, I was able to try these cool Velocity Mechanical Pencils. It's been a while since I have used a wooden pencil since I always used mechanical pencils when I was in school. These pencils wrote very nice and didn't break every second like others. I liked the colors that were included and how it also came with an extra thing of erasers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are heavy users of mechanical pencils in our household, so we were excited to receive these. The colors are great, the pencils are sturdy, and they write very well. I have one issue: when we use the eraser, the lead in the pencil gets pushed out so when you turn it down to write again, you have to push the lead back into the pencil. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience that we do not have with other mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Seventh Grader uses mechanical pencils at school when she's not typing and was very excited to get this new pack of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to try out. She says they are very smooth and erase really easily unlike others she has had that burned through her erasers and would ultimately tear her paper. Plus, they are comfortable to hold and colorful! The other students always ask to borrow them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ok so first not gonna lie skeptical why because i love mechanical pencils but they're a pain push to hard lead breaks before you know it you're out of lead this one gotta say definitely different when i first used it i thought it was a pen duh of course not and even if it looks like the lead isn't there it still writes omg moment so if you hated the old mechanical pencils like i did try this one it puts the other ones to shame

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't just your run of the mill mechanical pencil. This is the top of the line, if there were such a thing, in 'clicky' pencils. At first glance, there isn't anything special - 5 colorful pencils, one extra barrel of .7mm lead, and a barrel of 5 eraser refills. Then, you open it. The first thing you notice is the grip. It's so soft, yet very supportive. The erasers also have a clear cap, which, for the kids, is kind of tough to get off (which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.) I also doesn't prevent the lead from being 'clicked' when it's on. I write quite a bit, and so does my (left handed) 11 year old daughter. She and I both gave these pencils a test. The lead is smooth, so much more than I've ever used before. I'm not sure if it's the eraser or the lead, but when I made a mistake, there was no proof of it, unlike some other brands! According to my daughter, the pencil is very easy to write with and when you erase things
