[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great. I am an elementary teacher and was so excited when I received these pencils from Bzzagent. They have a good weight to them, not flimsy at all. Also when writing the lead isn't constantly breaking like with some mechanical pencils. Very impressed with this product. I will buy in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest problem with mechanical pencils has always been how easily and often the lead breaks. It's frustrating to have to let out more lead when you're on a roll with your writing. BIC Velocity mechanical pencils have stronger lead without sacrificing the smooth writing quality.
I've loaned these out to my upper level art students for them to use for small detail and all of them love the dark, smooth pencil marks and how clean it erases with the white pencil eraser, a favorite among art students. They love the bright colors and the fact that it comes with an eraser and lead refill pack.
Whole the eraser cap keeps the eraser clean if it is put into a puse or bookbag, most of them were lost pretty quickly because the kids got tired of removing it every time they needed to erase. Not a problem for those writing but definitely not a deal breaker for artists either.
I have used them myself for linear sketching and love them as well.
Would definitely consider buying these again.

Very convenient pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these pencils. They like to use mechanical pencils for school, but these ones are very convenient. Comes with extra pencil tips and erasers, my kids use them a lot, and the rubber grip help them a lot in school. The fact that comes with all these extra in the same package is very convenient for the kids and for the parents because you can save a few bucks.

BIC to the Rescue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School supplies can be expensive so receiving free mechanical pencils from BIC was a no brainer but will these mechanical pencils stand up to the test of three teenagers and one adult in school? Well lets see! As in a previous review, my 15 year old thought the pencils were okay but did not hold up to her more expensive mechanical pencil she received for Christmas last year. My youngest daughter did like the mechanical pencil but prefer something with a little smaller barrel to hold onto because in her words, "these pencils are a bit bulky!" My 17 year old was not impress but right now she is not impress with school at all except it is her senior year and she is so over school and wants to go to college next year.
Now for the real test. While the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils did not hold up to the test with my daughters, I did get a chance to use them with my classes. Oh yes! You read that right! At the age of 46, I have gone back to college and the mechanical pencils came in handy when I was working on the sketch for my first assignment. Did they stand up the work of a 46 year old and pass the test? Yes! I pressed down hard on the lead and they did not break. While I did have to press down on the top to release the lead several times while working, it did not run out. The darkness of the lead was dark enough that one could read my writing. They were delicate enough to write in cursive and not looking like a smudge of a mess.
And the eraser! It was not bad at all. Not the best but it was not bad! It did erase for the lighter work but when it came to the sketches the dark lines were a little too much for the eraser and I had to use my back up eraser. Still a good back up eraser on the pencil though.
So would I recommend these pencils and buy them in the future. Yes. I would recommend them to my friends, family, and other parents. Especially if they are on sale. And yes I received the BIC pencils for free from BIC.

We Love These Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are awesome. They are easy for my daughter to grip and the lead is super smooth. Her lines are neat and clean. My daughter loves the fun colors they come in. She uses these mechanical pencils at school and for drawing. The lead is strong and does not break easily. No sharpening needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up I always used BIC products. They make things fun and easy. Every kid loves mechanical pencils. So what an easier way that to let them pick up a pack of these awesome Velocity pencils. They write so smooth and don't smear. The kids like using them and picking out their favorite colors. They won't use any other.These are amazing pencils and you can't go wrong. A highly respected company with products that work and last. Make learning fun with BIC!
