School starts next week so these pencils are going to be put to the true test. We have tried them at home and they seem to work great so now we will see how they do at school!!!

Thought they would make a great #backtoschool item. I used one while working on a family tree this summer and loved it! The lead writes smooth, doesn't break and erases cleanly! Its so hard to find a good eraser on a pencil now a days! Not only were they a hit with my son, but completely #momapproved #BICVelocity #gotitfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are right up there with the fancy mechanical pencils that cost a fortune. The leads are very smooth and don't break easily. My husband took a whole pack because he works in construction and deals with plans all day, so he could easily erase anything that needed to be fixed. Plus, I don't have to cry if he loses one!

Great Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying these new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I would have wanted to know how much the replacement lead costs and if I could buy the lead separately or would I have to buy the whole pack of pencils. I have never used Mechanical Pencils before because I have seen my kids use them before and every-time they write the lead would seem to break or when they would use the eraser the lead would pop out. I have even seen the eraser break right out of the pencil, so I was very skeptical that they would be any better. So, when I received these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils for free from BzzAgent I was excited to try them to see if they are better then the ones my kids have used in the past. Well, they are GREAT mechanical pencils. I used these at first to make up a shopping list just to test drive them. WOW do they write so smoothly. I even got to use the eraser and to my surprise the lead didn't advance at all and the eraser didn't pop off and it erased my mistake perfectly. I will definitely be using these all the time instead of a regular pencil.

One daughter said she loves that the eraser has a little cover! Also that it writes so smooth. I love the refills...not only lead but eraser refills too!! I gave some to my sister for her to try to! We love these pencils!!
