[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School has started, and we love the Bic Velocity Pencils. The finger grip is easy on your friends. Love the cap on the eraser. They are so easy to use; and are so smooth. Love not having to sharpening a pencil in the middle of working. My daughter uses it not only for school work, but also when she is working on drawing for Art class. Great pencil. The lead doesn't seem to break as easy as some other pencils. And I love that; so I'm not having to buy more lead in the first week of using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first went to try out one of the mechanical pencils I thought it would be like all the other mechanical pencils I've used but the pencil was very smooth. The pencil grip was very soft and I love that the eraser has a cap on it. It's also a big bonus that the package comes with refills on the lead and even the erasers because I haven't seen mechanical pencils that have refills for the erasers. #Got it Free #BICVelocity

My kids and I really like the bright colors, they definitely stand out next to other brands! I rated them 4 out of 5 stars because I think the eraser could work a little better, but overall I really like them and will continue to use them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these would also strongly appeal to adults because they truly write so well. Strong lead, great erasers (and refills included of each). My daughter and son (middle and high school) will be getting these for school this year. My husband also tutors math and is taking his to work. Feels much better in my hand than the wood pencils and also the cheaper store brand mechanical pencils I typically buy. I don't love pencils like my daughter and husband but did decide when I use a pencil it would be this brand I will use.

My daughter loves the rubber grip part, and she said the lead seems to last longer, as in doesn't break as easy as other lead pencils. For me they are a little pricey but for the price they seem to be working great! I have not had to buy any new ones or lead for them yet!

never ending lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being that time of year when everyone is scrambling to find school supplies we always jump to the mechanical kind. We have tried other brands and have never been happy with them. Always breaking and losing the lead. With the Bic Velocity mechanical pencil we have not had to replace the lead yet. The lead is thicker than most and very smooth. It almost feels like a pencil that has to be sharpened. The eraser is really good. Others crumble when used. The Velocity held up really well. We will be purchasing more packages before they fly off the shelves.

Great to write with but tough to erase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children were so excited when these new BIC Velocity mechanical pencil showed up. They love new, fun things. We kept them at home for the younger ones since they are not allowed to used mechanical pencils in class-even if it has #2 lead. We used them on their day work at home and had no problems writing with them. It is a smooth lead and wrote with out any problems. However, when we tried to erase their work it did not erase well. I think it may be just the eraser that was provided as part of the pencil. I used another eraser and it seemed to erase better. I love how dark and fine the pencil writes too. Great job BIC and thanks Bzz Agent for the free sample!
