My children love mechanical pencils, but usually they break so easily- these pencils wrote smooth and we're great when drawing. My children and I have art class everyday, since school is out, and these pencils have been a great addition to their art pencils. I prefer to sketch with these pencils over my usual drawing pencils. I mean they were really smooth! and the lead didn't break on me once. The lead also lasted a long time before I had to click the eraser for it to be longer. Oh and the eraser- it erased very clean and clear, except it will get the black from the lead from erasing excessively, but if I erased a blank piece of paper, it was good as new. We love these pencils

He says they write smoothly and he is really impressed with the tip. The tip of these pencils don't break as often as others do and he says they don' tear up his paper. Overall he was very impressed with these pencils and we will continue to use them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have loved using BIC's velocity mechanical pencils. The lead writes darker then any other mechanical pencil we've ever tried. The lead also doesn't break as easily as it used to. It erases cleanly and doesn't need sharpening. Each package comes with replacement lead and erasers, which helps save money. Not all mechanical pencils come with refills. Some you have to buy separately. The best part has been the colors of course! They love choosing a different color to write with. One of the kids has a different color for each subject. These really are a great school supply worth trying. #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a reliable mechanical pencil with a comfortable grip, then you have found it in the BIC Velocity. The lead is absolutely wonderful in not being so thin and flimsy. It doesn't break as easily as other leads. The pencil's eraser doesn't smear your work, it actually erases. That is VERY important in making things look neat, as well as not having to use your whole eraser so quickly! The pencils come with refills, and that is definitely a plus, considering that the lead lasts as long as it does. My daughter has had not one complaint about this mechanical pencil. Not only does this build my confidence in the BIC brand, but now that we have found something that actually WORKS, BIC will always have me as a customer.

The lead doesn't break like others we have tried. Usually she is constantly taking new pencils, but with these we won't have that problem. They come is many colors making them stylish and cool for school. I would highly recommend these mechanical pencils and have to my friends. Thanks Bic and BuzzAgent for this awesome back to school product.

As third graders, they were excited to have their own mechanical pencil. So far, so good. The kids have had minimal lead breakage, and erasing has been clean for the most part. I am pleased with the Bic Velocity performance!
