[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got so excited when I got into the campaign. BIC is a well trusted brand that I have always used. When I got the pack the BIC Velocity it contain five pencils. They were different colors and it contain the refill lead and erasers. The BIC lead pencils contain a soft grip and the eraser has a plastic cover so my eraser does not fall off. When I was working on my paperwork the writing was so smooth and if I made a mistake it was easy to erase without any marks left behind. I was so happy that I had to share them so now people at work have the BIC Velocity pencils too.

The Best in Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought a mechanical pencil is a mechanical pencil. But I am wrong. I compared a generic mechanical pencil to Bic Velocity and really it's night and day. Bic Velocity is thicker, more substancial, has a comfort grip that is lacking in the simple generic. It writes very well and erases easily, has a good feel in my hand. My 8th grade daughter was very impressed as well. She liked all the different colors and how it felt in her hand and how smooth it wrote. I think these are a bargain as well. I calculated they approximately $1 or less each and that is without a coupon or back to school sale. So I highly recommend you get your kids the best and buy these over generics. Give them the best tools to work with. It's so worth it.

Tough Lead

The lead didn't break easily and the lighting of my writing came out dark and rich. I can't stand writing with a lead pencil that makes my writing hard to read and it feels like writing with a needle. Bic makes my life feel much better! These mechanical pencils are the best. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started school yesterday and both of my school aged kids packed these pencils in the bag. That's extremely high praise from the child who had her bag packed for weeks, with folders and binders color coded by subject. It's slightly less high praise from the kid who tossed some supplies in his bag the night before, but still praise, as he had options. They like the mechanical pencils because they are always sharp and the erasers consistently work. My college age kid prefers a metal mechanical pencil with thinner lead (.5 vs. the .7 in these pencils). Those pencils are definitely higher quality with a better hand grip/feel, but they are also considerably more expensive. The BIC velocity are a great pencil for the cost. My son mentioned that he thought the hand grip was a nice feature.

According to her, these are the best mechanical pencils she's ever used. The lead is durable and doesn't break easily, the erasers actually work, and the bright colors help distinguish them from other kids' pencils. She's shared some of the pencils in the pack with her classmates and says that the other kids love them too. Five stars from the 8th grade!

Now that this Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils came into our lives, she enjoys writing with pencils. Mainly, due to the shape and grip of the pencil. She also says it has plenty of lead to write and its style is like a pen. I am convinced that Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils can make math a lot easier.

School was starting in a few weeks and we were hoping that my BzzKit would arrive in time. And WALA it did! My kids highly prefer mechnical pencils over regular wood pencils. So when we received the BzzKit containing the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils they couldn't wait to put them in their pencil boxes and use them! They came in a variety of bright colors and even came with extra lead and erasers! That was a huge convienance! The test would be though whether the erasers would smudge when used....answer, no smudges! yay! And it was super easy for them to put new lead in once they were out. What a great product at the best time of year!
