Handy Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of mechanical pencils and use them on a daily basis at my office. When I received these pencils, I was immediately impressed with the attractiveness of it as it had bold colors and a modern style to them. I loved the fact that the pencils have a nice grip to them, making it much easier for me to write. The pack also includes 5 additional erasers and a container of 0.7 lead to use as replacements. I am happy that BIC included these additions as it will make my life so much more convenient. The pencil writes relatively smoothly. The eraser seems standard to me and erases most of my errors. This pencil uses 0.7 lead which is similar to a #2 mechanical pencil, which will be useful for my children to use in school. The fact that they don't have to keep sharpening a regular pencil will make their lives so much easier. My teenager already swiped from me one of the pencil packs to use for school! Overall, this is a nice set of handy and useful mechanical pencils.

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This BZZ campaign arrived just in time for back to school this year. My children are getting older and Mechanical pencils are all the rave. Getting a pack each was like a Christmas present! The BIC Velocity mechanical pencils were stylish and great for writing. Most lead pencils have a very bad habit of breaking when writing. I tried one for myself and the lead lasted through my entire homework assignment. My kids are still currently using the pencils and have no complaints. I shared my coupons with other mothers in hopes their kids would get just as much good out of the pencils.

This pencil doesn't have that kind of issue, my first impression I like them a lot! Only thing a would improve is the eraser because leaves a mark when u used. But I like the fact that the package contains more erases for replacement. Cool colors and a nice soft grip perfect for everybody.

Getting free items is great; getting free items that are great is totally awesome. These pencils are both. The pencils were really nice quality and had a nice weight to them. It felt more like using a quality pen than a mechanical pencil. These pencils will hold up for a long time and come with lead and eraser refills. The .7 mm lead was strong enough not to break when my 5 year old wrote with it and it seemed to glide across the paper with little effort. The rubber grip is a nice touch. It seemed to help my 5 year old's grip and her hand didnt seem to get as tired when doing her schoolwork. I found myself opting to use these over pens when jotting down my grocery lists etc. Guys might consider the pencils girly because of the bright colors but I love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other day my daughter came home with a project to draw the world map. This was a 2 1/2 hour project and #BICVelocicy stood up to the test. The lead was nice and strong as my daughter normally would break the lead several times with other pencils. The grip is also super comfortable because she did not complain once that her hand or fingers were bothering her. We both give these pencils 2 thumbs up. #GotItFree
