writes smoothly and the eraser is sturdy too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a mechanical pencil where the lead doesn't break and the eraser doesn't grind down the first time you use it. And that is exactly what the Velocity is, a sturdy pencil with a great eraser that won't wear out. It writes smoothly and it feels good in your hand.

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can compare it to the old Bic Mechanical Pencils because I just threw one out! These are just better! They are comfy and slick and almost felt like I was writing with a pen but I was writing with a pencil! I love these! With these, I felt like every stroke was even not jagged and I remember feeling that the point would often break or the lead would not be even with the other pencils. I enjoy writing with these pencils and so does my daughter. She instantly goes for them and when doing her homework and I wasn't aware that she knew that they had been added to the jar but the bright colors was an instant attraction and when I tried to hide them she knew exactly which colors were missing! So, I'm excited to buy more because if that's what she needs to help aid her after school in homework, I'm all for it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kid love BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are bright, cheery and easy to use. The colors are vibrant and fun for young children. Older kids will like the fun fashion colors and the ease of writing and erasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these new BIC VelocityÆ Original and Side Clic mechanical pencils are great! I'm not worried about them breaking in the bottom of a backpack or purse. They erase without leaving a mess. They write smoothly and the lead hasn't broken on me yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are great! They are definitely made alot better, because they do not snap in half after using them in 1 day or just laying in book bags or purses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to doodle, and the worst thing is when the lead breaks as you are writing. With Bic Velocity, that rarely happens. I love that light pressure doesn't break the lead, and you can doodle away. Overall the lead lasts a long time, best yet, the refills are easy to add and use.

Very convenient pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these pencils. They like to use mechanical pencils for school, but these ones are very convenient. Comes with extra pencil tips and erasers, my kids use them a lot, and the rubber grip help them a lot in school. The fact that comes with all these extra in the same package is very convenient for the kids and for the parents because you can save a few bucks.
