Smooth writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the new pencils. On her first day of school she was telling me that they write smooth and do not break like other mechanical pencils. Normally my kiddo does not care about her pencil other than if she has one. These she asked me to buy more of. Even her penmanship looks better with these pencils.

Kids not so thrilled to be writing, but they've got the righ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While writing is not my kid's favorite activity, at least they can't complain about the tools they're using! Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are awesome! They are very sturdy, write like a pen, and are comfortable to use. I love the capped erasers, too. These will be great for graphing, robotics, and math for my Senior. I might have to sneak one or two for my personal use as well! I usually avoid mechanical pencils because I am an intense" writer. I usually push too hard and break the lead. These seemed to hold up just fine for me. I think I've found my new favorite pencil!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bright fun colors of this product. The lead really writes smooth and doesn't break easily, a common thing with other mechanical pencils. My only negative on these is that the cap covering the eraser will get lost easily. I removed all of them and three them away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two daughters, ages 11 and 15, and they LOVE these pencils! They are easy to grip and write really smooth. The erasers don't smear. The lead doesn't break as often as other mechanical pencils do. They also love how the set comes with extra lead and erasers. Plus, these pencils come in cute colors and look really good. I will definitely be buying more. #BICVelocity #GOTITFREE

We had a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School just started for us, so I eagerly broke open the pack to fill up pencil cases for the kids. Boy was I disappointed when two were not working right out of the pack! These came with blue, orange, yellow, pink and purple colors. My son really wanted the blue and orange and, sure enough, they were the broken ones. Luckily there was no issue with the other pack of 5. The ones that did work were great. However, if I had paid for a pack of five and only gotten three that were useable, I would have been extremely unhappy. Hence, the three stars. I've included a photo. It's kind of hard to see, but on the blue one the retracting tip doesn't stay out once clicked. Only the lead comes out so its not stabilized and will break off when you write with it. The pink one is how it should look. They do write nicely, are comfortable in hand and I love the extra lead that's included!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I love the colors. Secondly, these are pretty durable. My boys tend write too rough with mechanical pencils and wind up breaking off the tips. So far they have used the same ones since the start of school (little over a month) and they're still going strong. Lastly, and the most important is they are affordable.
