The soft rubber grip provides writing comfort and control. The eraser is very high quality and durable too. My son loved this pencil. I very much recommend these mechanical pencils.

Was doing some things that required a pencil, I usually hate using a pencil they just don't glide on the paper like a pen, I must now say I may be doing a lot more work with a pencil, love the feel, smoothness of the lead on the paper and erases it with great ease. Great job on the design of the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils.

My kids were very excited when they saw these & couldn't wait to open them up & add them to their school gear arsenal. They've been using the pencils for a solid week now, & still like them. The lead seems stronger than the lead in other mechanical pencils, so it doesn't break often at all. Plus the grip is very nice - almost like a pen & definitely very substantial feeling in your hand. All in all, these are great pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how comfortable this Pencil fits in my hand. It is thicker then most other mechanical pencils and has a grip for your fingers. Upon first glance I thought it was a pen. It looks real nice too. There is a cap for the eraser and a clip so you can attach it to some papers or a notebook. The plastic feels more durable then other pencils on the market. This mechanical Pencil has metal at the tip that hold the lead in place which is real nice. The lead stays put and does not want to slide back inside. The design of this Velocity mechanical pencil was well thought out. Thank you Bic I found my new favorite writing tool

So Wonderful and So Close

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are wonderful, my children really enjoy using them and they are easy to spot with the great bright colors. The multi pack had appropriate colors for my daughter's liking and for my son's liking. One little thing, and it's really a little thing, the eraser. While the eraser does a fantastic job of erasing the awesome lead, it's barely there and the little lid is beyond easy to misplace. Overall, the price is right for the excellent quality of the actual writing experience, you can't beat it. Also, the fact that the package comes with extra lead and erasers is above and beyond, it truly saves an extra trip later on. I personally love another brand that has the eraser built in with a twist up way to get more of the eraser out; however, I feel a bit like I have to take out a small loan to afford multiples of that brand of pencil. So the quality of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil has won me over, the lead really does write more smoothly than the other brand I was using. The lead has great dark color but is smooth to write with, yet it does erase so nicely! This is a wonderful pencil and so close to perfect.
