I love not having to sharpen pencils!

It is nice not to have constantly find a sharpener. I have no complaints about these and will buy them once my free samples are used up.

The lead is very smooth and I like how it does not drag when I write on paper. My children both LOVE this pencil and use it every day at school and while at home doing their homework. This is a product that I plan to purchase again in the future.

They write neatly and perfectly. My cursive is as nice as if I were writing with pens. They have different colors for the barrels and the led writes smoothly.

The grip is thicker than average, making them easier to hold. They write really smooth and no need to sharpen over and over. They are enjoying using these at school for note taking and tests. The erasers are durable and erase well without smearing.

The erase works very well. With other pencils I always have to press really hard and rube a lot to erase. Then my eraser always pops out . I did not have that problem with these pencils. They erased very easily. .I received these pencils free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using pentel p207 pencils for over 20 years since college. I am pretty picky about mechanical pencils. I prefer .7mm lead and the weight of metal pencil and simple ridged grip of this pencil. I gave the BIC velocity pencils a try and was pleasantly surprised. Usually plastic mechanical pencils feel very cheap. The grip was good. I actually didn't mind the cushy feel. I enjoyed not having to remove a cap to get to the eraser. I loved the color options! I will definitely use these as an alternative to my standard. The BIC pencil didn't fit easily in my planner pencil holder -- too fat and grip got in the way. But I will use these around the house and in the car.
