[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so super excited to try BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I love to try new writing items when I find them at the store, as I'm an artist and my oldest daughter is taking after me. She loves doodling so much, It's easier to buy mechanical pencils than replace a pencil sharpener every few months. She requested I continue to buy BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils, as she likes the colors and the thickness of the lead for drawing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils - I think these pencils are awesome. My son loves drawing with them. He is our little artist. We love all the different barrel colors, the fact that they are refillable is great. They are durable and strong, yet they write/draw with beautiful soft strokes. They erase cleanly and don't leave any of those annoying streaks behind. We would recommend the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils to anyone and everyone. They definitely are on our back to school shopping list and I am going to keep a few for myself ... They really are a great product. Good job BIC !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these velocity pencils! My kids and I have bought about 20 more packs to donate to teachers. Smooth writing, durable lead, plus the extra erasers and lead! Amazing price too! I hope they're never discontinued!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are the absolute best! I had purchased some time ago, a big economy size lot of mechanical pencils I could use for school and they drove me nuts! The lead was so thin and weak, they were constantly breaking, and they erased so poorly by just smudging the lead around. These pencils are the opposite. The lead is super strong. I like a nice pointy edge and these pencils hold up great even during long hours of test taking and filling in bubble sheets. they erase great too. And the colors just make me happy! I will definitely purchase these pencils again in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start out by saying... I LOVE LOVE LOVE these velocity mechanical pencils by Bic! I am super picky about the pencils I choose to write with. I do NOT like lead that writes soft, I like lead that writes with a nice rich, dark lead and these deliver just that! I am all about qulality when it comes to my penmanship and this style of lead just fits my style of life. I feel the smooth, dark lead improves my penmanship 10fold and as a bonus improves my artistic side as well. The colors they come in are def a bonus of fun and the pack also gives extra lead refills to get you to the next time you have to head to to the store to get more (and trust me, you will want to continue to by that replacement lead for these). I also enjoyed the softer rubber like cushioning around the lower part of the pencil for added comfort to those like me who tend to hold on tight when they wrote!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils are so amazing I carry one in my purse, and in my car. I have never enjoyed a mechanical pencil as much as I love the beautiful look and functionality of these. My 5 year old even loves to write with these yet the grip is not super large like many are that target the 5 year old age range.

BIC Velocity is a HIT with my 4 kids!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 5 kids and 4 of them are in school, so there are a lot of pencils floating around my house. All 4 of them (ages 8, 10, 12 , 16) liked the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils when they first used them at home. I asked them to try them out at school an come back and report to me how they held up over the school day. It was unanimous! All 4 kids liked these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils so much that they asked me to purchase more for the school year. Here's what they all agreed on: they were comfortable to use all day long, erased well, drew smoothly, the eraser stayed clean (bonus), the eraser didn't wear down quickly after a few uses, and they liked the bright colors. My 8 year-old son thought it was cool that it looked like a pen. My 12 year-old daughter said that she liked that the lead inside the pencil was easy to see through the pencil cylinder, making it easy to know when she will need to refill in the future. My 16 year-old will often get calluses and she said that the BIC Velocity didn't bother her fingers at all during a day's use (That was a relief to her!). The only complaint came from my 10 year-old daughter as she said that she lost the clear eraser cap after the first time she used it as it rolled off her desk. That wasn't a deal breaker for her though. All kids have seen the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils at their school as other students have been using them too! Must be a hit with everyone! Below is a photo of my 12 year-old. She is ALWAYS using the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!
