[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the first one to my oldest son who only uses mechanical pencils. He liked the look and feel of it and after writing a bit, he said he liked that too. It came in many different colors which is great when you have boys and girls. Upon using the eraser though, it didn't work so well. He had to push really hard and after going back and forth over and over again, it still didn't erase. Overall, the pencil is a huge hit but the eraser is a dud. I would still buy them though.

She also impressed on how well the pencils erase and don't leave behind errors. I didn't think I would have to buy more, but she used them so much, I did! I gave them each a pack of pencils for the new school year. The pencils are in several great colors and they are very high quality. The pencils erase well, they write smoothly, and the lead doesn't break as easy as other pencils do. I was impressed!!

But make no mistake, if you make a mistake with this, you can erase it. Makes working on math a dream. This is a definite win! Light weight and fits into your hand perfectly. The grip on it is so cushy and great. The tip is even retractable! The colors are great. You could match the colors to your outfit if you wanted. This will make going back to school more fun..

She also loved that they came with extra lead and erasers! My son loved the clear plastic caps over the erasers, so you won't lose them. The lead dispenses easily and writes super smoothly. My kids get so frustrated with traditional, sharpened pencils and are excited to try these out in school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that these are the best mechanical pencils that I have ever used. I have always been a fan of Bic ink pens. These Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils are comfortable to hold and writes very clear just like regular number 2 wooden pencils. I would recommend that you give these a try. You will never use any other kind of pencil after writing or drawing with these Bic pencils.
