They were very excited about the bright rainbow colors and were eager to use them. They liked that the pencils wrote smoothly, erased cleanly, and that the lead was strong and did not break easily. As a parent I liked that the pencils came with extra erasers and lead and that they make writing and homework fun. I received BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to try free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The #BICVelocity Mechanical pencils are amazing! They are made with strong leads that erase cleanly and have a soft grip for comfortable writing. They come in many bright colors, purple is our favorite. The pencils have a little more weight to them, which is good because it makes them feel more sturdy and like they will last longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these mechanical pencils for free in exchange for my honest opinion from BIC. These pencils are great! So easy to use and perfect writing every time! My four year old daughter loves to use her yellow one for homework. She doesn't have to worry about sharpening a pencil when the lead breaks, which rarely happens even though she's a first time writer. The lead is durable and the comfort grip makes it very easy for little hands to use!! I definitely recommend these to my friends and family for their kids. Our back to school shopping was easy thanks to BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils! Best part is it was FREE ?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From my own personal experience with this new BIC Velocity Mechancial Pencil to everyone I buzzed to (who also tried it courtesy of BzzAgent!) gave it a 5-star rating. Me, personally, loved the grip and the feel of it in my hand. It wrote smooth and erased clean. the last pencil I used, (standard yellow #2), paled in comparison. I love the fact they are re-fillable and that this pack came not only with the addt'l lead, but erasers too! What pencils I kept will last me a long time, which in and of itself, is a great thing! The other points of note, were the colors (fun for the little ones) and the fact the lead did not seem to break instantly when you begin to use it. All in all, a great tool!!

She was delighted to find the eraser under the little plastic cap and how well it fixed her mistakes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact I was given 2 packs of these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils as I use them daily at work and even sometimes over the weekend for a part-time job I have. My kids love mechanical pencils so they were also stoked to get their own pack to try out. I like the feel of the pencil and you don't have to press down so hard to get a good delivery. My only issue is, once the lead gets down to 3/4 through when you try to press the lead forward the lead continues to move so you lose the crisp look. I usually then just remove the smaller lead stick and start anew. It also does erase pretty well, but I usually forget to remove the plastic covering-DOH! Most mechanical pencils don't offer the cover for the eraser.
