Bic Velocity why it's the better choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a comparison between Bic Velocity, xtra-comfort and xtra-percision. At first visually the Bic Velocity stand out because of the brighter colors and how the pencil it's self is a bit larger and sorta cool with the clear plastic around a colored center. Next comfort in writing, the Velocity wins again, the larger grips have little notches that help you hold the pencil more comfortably and the notches help you hold it at an angle that makes writing neater (I'm a 4th grade teachers assistant so this notch is a plus) lastly the actual writing of the pencil, the Velocity and comfort are both .7 lead and they wrote the same and the precision takes a .5 lead and I found that the writing was a little lighter in color.

They write smooth and dark so no need to push down on them and break the lead. They have a plastic cover over the eraser which I love because it helps my daughter not to chew on the eraser. It also comes with extra lead and erasers. They are a great edition to my daughters school supplies this year. They also write as dark as no #2 pencils so they are perfect for test taking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great! They write very smoothly and the lead doesn't seem to break as easily as other mechanical pencils I have tried. They are very comfortable to write with. My kids loved them and were so excited about the different colors. The extra lead and erasers also were a plus. The kids had some issues with the erasure clicking down as they tried to erase, but they were pressing down harder than was necessary. All in all, a really cool pencil!

My 7 year old has much better control doing her writing with the Velocity pencils vs a wooden pencil!
