[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great for my kids! Expect ally great for my autistic son who can't be bothered to sharpen his pencil. Using these they are always sharp! The ease of refilng the lead and erasers are easy, even for him.

I typically supply my kids (elementary & middle school) with both standard wood pencils and mechanical pencils. In the past, they have gravitated more towards wood pencils because they said it felt better. After test driving the Bic Velocity, my kids are loving them and will not do without! The pencils are very comfortable to use. They write super smooth, the lead does not break easily, and the eraser does a very clean job with little mess. Best of all, they are refillable, so no waste! The Bic Velocity is by far the best mechanical pencils my kids have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a lot of pencils, both regular and mechanical. The Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are defintely high quality. These write smooth yet the lead is not easily broken when you press down to write. The grip on these pencils are comfortable for lots of writing. Another great feature is the cap over the eraser. This not only looks good but it makes advancing the lead easier. My kids and I love the ease of using these pencils as well as their bright colors and extra lead and erasers. My daughter took these on her first day of Middle School and hasn't stopped using them since.

I and my children love the colorful barrels and super smooth lead which makes writing for them more fun. The strong lead erases so clean. I am so thrilled knowing that my kids are excited about writing. Glad they got a chance to try something free that they are actually using and like. I have tried them myself and I must say they are better then other mechanical pencils I have used before.
