They write nice and are not like some of the others that break so often. I like the bright colors myself. When the time comes that there is the need to erase then it is done cleanly and no marks left behind. My kids are always requesting mechanical pencils so we have been through our share of the leading brands. The teacher said she had seen them, but hadnt tried them yet and loved the mechanical factor as her pencil sharpener always breaks at inconvenient times when a child needs a pencil sharpened...usually during a test!

They have a nice rubber grip to keep them from sliding. The erasers seem to be more durable than other mechanical pencils. These are by far the best mechanical pencils I have ever used. And the kids absolutely love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils!! I am a teacher who is always looking for a newly sharpened pencil at my desk or when I go to other classrooms. This pencil lets me always have a sharpened pencil. Plus it comes with extra lead AND extra erasers?! That has always been a draw back of a mechanical pencil, having to throw one away because you can't find the eraser to keep the lead in the pencil or to erase with. These are a much nicer mechanical pencil at a great price!

It felt comfortable writing. I also used it for drawing. I felt that my pictures turned out better using the pencils. I also let some kids use them to draw with me. They really liked using them. They spent hours writing and drawing.
