Smooth lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old daughter was thrilled to try out the new pencils. She loved the that it came with the extra erasers! As she was writing a story for me she stated that she liked that the lines are smooth when she is writing. She said that sometimes when she is writing with her regular #2 pencils she feels like her writing is bumpy". She also thought the colors that they came in were fun. When she used the eraser she was happy that it erased so well and didn't leave a trace of the writing she had completed. She is really excited to use them at school."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are the strongest mechanical pencils I have ever tried! The lead erases clearly and cleanly. The erasers are song and do not smear on the paper. Very clean and neat. The mechanical pencils have the appearance of a pen. The lead is strong and doesn't break like the average mechanical pencil. The tip retracts in which I have never experienced on anything other than a pen before. Writing is a job and give it a smooth consistent feel. I feel good about sending my children to school with BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils in their backpack. This is a revolutionary mechanical pencil!

I take down lots of notes and there are some pencils out there that just feel heavy to write with. When I get stressed in my previous nursing classes I tend to press down really hard. Luckly wuth my BIC velocity mechanical pencils it's a simple click and I can continue writing. I love the wide variety of colors that you can choose from as well. Depending on my mood that day that tends to be the color I pick for school. I love that you can keep the eraser nice and clean with the little clear top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are phenomenal pencils! I'm not normally one to use pencils, I like the feel of a pen better and the smoothness it has. However, one day when grabbing one out of my pen and pencil container, (thinking it was a pen) I didn't notice right away that I was even using a pencil. It wrote just like a pen with the smoothness of it. Now I use these all the time. And best part is I can erase my mistakes instead of that mess of crossing it out like when using a pen.

Best Pencil ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I always had the problem of broken lead with other pencils. That is not a problem with these rugged pencils. The thicker lead and metal lead guide make it very hard to break the leads. I use these pencils in the field under extreme conditions and they have never failed me. My only knock against them is that I wish that they made a model with a metal barrel as the plastic barrels break easily if they are stepped on or sat upon.

They have now asked that I purchase more of these pencils for their back to school needs. The pencils are smooth and have erasers that don't break up when they need to correct a mistake. To start off with, the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils come in vibrant colors, which makes it fun! They also don't look like mechanical pencils. It has the look & feel of a pen. But what really makes the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils stand out, is the way they write. It writes so smooth, it almost feels like you are writing with a pen. The lead writes dark and erases cleanly. BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils also has strong lead. So many of my mechanical lead pencils, the lead breaks so easy and is so fragile. Not with BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils. The lead is thick, sturdy and strong. I have been writing with it now for over 2 weeks, and have not had even one break. And I love the rubber grip. Makes is easy & comfortable to hold. As far as mechanical pencils go, this is one of the best and will definitely purchase in the future!
