The lead on these pencils write great and we love all the colors. My daughter will be using mechanical pencils this year and Bic Velocity will be in her bookbag as long as my son's. Also love the refills already inside.

She sat and drew and wrote and was excited about it. There are several colors she can choose from and its perfect since school is right around the corner. The writing quality is superb. They write dark and clear on a variety of types of paper. They include refills and spare erasers too. I like how comfortable and easy these are for writing. They has a no slip grip perfect for accurate and strong writing ability. They have strong points that are tough, and don't break easily. My daughter is definitely ready for back to school. I am quite impressed with this great product.

The feel of it in your hand is very ergonomic and the smooth dark marks that the lead leave are very high quality. The only problem is that they are a bit on the expensive side.
