Fun mechanical pencils!

They had previously picked these mechanical pencils to keep in their purses for using during classes. Since the lead retracts, we don't have to worry about any damage of a traditional pencil....and the colorful barrels are fun!

I had always gone for the cheap pencils, thinking there couldn't be THAT much of a difference. Then I tried the new #BICVelocity Pencils. WOW! The smoothness of the writing! You don't get that scratchy feeling with these pencils! The thoroughness of the eraser! You can't even tell that I had to erase a misspelled word on the list pictured! Plus, I love that it has a little cap on the eraser. The retractable tip is something I have never seen before. Very handy in a purse of backpack. I told my daughter the pencils were for her, but I may just have to keep this pack, and buy her a new one! #GotItFree

The lead is just so smooth when you write. Writing assignments will be great this school year. Creative writing here we come. Students want spend all day trying to fix the lead. I think I my have them as a class incentive too. If my girls don't take them first.

She had great reviews on how easily the pencils glided in the paper and that they wrote very smoothly. They also erased really well. She also loved the bright and fun colors. I am happy that these pencils has inspired my daughter to write down more notes at school. Compared to other pencils, she's much more excited and motivated to use these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I use the Bic Velocity mechanical pencil, the more I like it. I like that the lead is thicker than a lot of mechanical pencils. The lead is closer to that of a standard pencil but more comfort for your hand, making better for writing for longer periods of time. It's great that in each pack many extra erasers are included as well as extra lead! I would rate 5 stars if the eraser was not the part you push to extend the lead. We are very happy with the Bic Velocity. Thanks to bzzagent we received these for free to review through Bic. We will be purchasing in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils were awesome. Love the pretty colors of the pencils as a woman we love pretty things:). As a carpel tunnel person I found them very easy to hold and write with my hand actually had no problem writing a letter while using the pencil. I loved the smoothness of the lead I did not break the lead once while writing and due to the hard pressure when I write this is a common problem for me. The rubber part that my fingers hold to write made the pencil so comfortable to hold. I even gave my high school daughter a few pencils for school she loved them stating these are the best mechanical pencils I ever used. I did Gand out several coupons to my coworkers who are teachers and they were eager to try the Velocity pencils. Once again BIC you came up with an awesome product :).
