[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity pencils are great for all ages. My kids love that they come in different colors so they know which one is their pencils. The wider grip makes them easy for the younger kids to use. The older kids like the cool" design. The fact that they are #2 lead means they can use them on tests as well. I love that they erase cleanly so their homework isn't covered in a grey mess. I've even tried them out myself since I write a lot & the ease of use is great. An all around great pencil for everyone!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the BIG Velocity mechanical pencils now for a few weeks and continue to like the engineered design of the finger grip. Fits perfectly in my hand and is lighter weight than the pencil I used to use. I love the bold colors as well. The lead is very smooth and doesn't smudge easily, which I certainly appreciate. The only thing that I do not like is the plastic cap on the eraser. I discarded all of those so they don't get in my way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] one thank you Bzzagent for sending me this product for free to try in return for my review. My kids where super pumped to receive these and thought I was the best (they oddly love mechanical pencils). They ripped the pencils open and claimed colors first, I was able to snag 2 for myself. We all tried them out by writing a few letters and words down on a piece of paper. We loved the grip holder made it less achy on our fingers (no indents) the cap for the eraser was neat idea but I did notice a bunch around the house (not back on the pencil) the writing was smooth and reminded me of a pen in a way. the refill was easy to use which is always a plus some just never work. all in all I think my kids and I really enjoyed using and will continue to purchase,.

My son took them to school and was just as pleased as I am. Not only did the colors appeal to him but he said they write well and that the lead didn't break as easily as most mechanical pencils do. I was able to snag the pink and purple pencils from him since, you know- that wouldn't be cool for a boy to have and I have used them at work. In the past I have always had issues with the erasers coming out when I try to use the eraser and it resulted in all the lead falling out but that hasn't happened with these pencils so they definitely get a thumbs up from me!! I would buy these pencils for school use as well as for use in the office for myself.
