[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils passed the picky tween test with flying colors! My daughter absolutely loves these pencils. They colorful and fun and definitely made school shopping a lot easier. Not only are they great looking, but they write well and the lead is MUCH sturdier than most mechanical pencils which definitely saves money on refills. These get an A+ in my book!

Moly son starts school in a month and can't wait to use them. I already opened one of the packs to share and I will be buying more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BiC Velocity mechanical pencils are awesome. They write smooth and erase clean. They also have a rubber grip that makes it easy to hold. Their is a tab that allows you to put pencils in your shirt pocket if you lose like I do then this is an awesome addition not available with regular pencils. I love that BiC included extra lead and erasers for them. My two teenagers were excited to have them and all their friends were asking to use them and where they could buy them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves BIC Velocity mechanical pencils. He is not a big fan of regular lead pencils. He has tactile issues and mechanical pencils have always worked best for him. They come with #2 lead so schools like them. I like that the lead does not break easily. My son often presses either too hard or too lightly and leads break frequently for him. We go through a lot of mechanical pencils. With I find that BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils seem to have stronger lead that can take a little bit of a beating. The lead also is dark and writes smoothly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who would have thought a mechanical pencil would just make my day! I must confess...I love mechanical pencils. I always have and always will. I love how the lead is always sharp and the eraser seems to erase so cleanly. Well, the BIC Velocity is no different only now the bar has been raised. This pencil is wider than usual. It seems more like the grip of a pen. I love the built in grip and how sturdy it feels. It doesn't feel like that cheap material that will eventually flake off. Now for writing...oh my, it was so smooth. I don't know if the lead is any different, but there was such a different feel to this pencil. I never felt like the lead was getting ready to snap if I accidentally pressed down too hard on my paper. This pencil is awesome! I will admit...I kept one for myself and gave the rest of the pack to my daughter as she starts school.
