They come in 0.7 mm lead which I have to have, and the bright colors are outstanding. I love that I can easily spot one when I need it. They are easy to write with, and make writing fun. The comfort grips are an added bonus, which makes the pencils the real deal for me!

Very impressed with how much strength the black lead is. When it comes to writing it is smooth and consistent and thicker lead than most so it doesn't break as easy. The marks really do erase very cleanly. These are the first pencils I've seen with refillable erasers too!

Setting lead mechanical pencils make it the kids' new fave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always hated the weak lead of mechanical pencils, and I detested when the pointy end would snag my sleeve of something in my purse. When Bic came out with these mechanical pencils, they must have interviewed lots of people like me, because this pencil addressed all of my disappointments in mechanical pencils. This product is first, coloful. Next, it is solid and sturdy in my hand. The lead is so strong that even my lefty sensory boy couldn't break the lead while writing. I even asked him to write like he normally does; the lead was steadfast, which says alot. The picture shows both of my kiddos trying the pencils for the first time. Best of all, the point end retracts inside, so my sleeves are saved. The only negative comes from my husband who prefers the 0.5mm over this thicker 0.7mm, but I like the thicker lead. Bic is too awesome. This is such a great product. I'm impressed.

I was already planning on purchasing some mechanical pencils for her so this campaign came right on time. She was so excited to receive the pencils. Her first enthusiastic remark was over all the different colors! I must agree. Most packages of mechanical pencils you only get one or two colors. Having all these different colors in one package allows my daughter to be more of an individual. As for how well they function, five stars! I really haven't had too many mechanical pencils that didn't function like they should. The main area where all pencils can have issues is in the eraser. Not here however. The eraser works perfectly with no streak marks left on the paper. So yes, I definitely recommend this product for back to school!

But I can say that that not only do kids like to use them, but adults do as well. They do their job and then some. I am impressed with the smoothness and simplicity.
