Easy to carry extra refills too. Lots of great colors to fit every style too! I'll definitely be stocking up for the school year! (And maybe a few for my own desk!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, by far, the best mechanical pencil I have ever used. 1st of all, it doesn't feel cheap or plastic-y. It feels nice and comfortable in your hand. The lead is very smooth and does not break easily like many others tend to do. My son has sloppy/poor handwriting and when he uses these, he has better control and more legible handwriting. Highly recommend!

Hands an dfingers would cramp up after long periods of writing or drawing, but the larger barrel size of the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils have been a true help during homework hours and other projects that they take on. We think it's a big win for pencils in our house!!

My kids are using these pencils for school and It looks like these bic Velocity pencils are a hit! The grip is good and they write smoothly. And the lead hasn't just snapped in the middle of writing. Yay for that!! The extra lead and erasers will come in handy. The only complaint" I've heard is that the colors are more "girly" All in all the kids really like them!"

My daughter and I tried them out before school started so we could make a decision if she was going to use these for school or buy her the old ones she was used to. We LOVED them! They feel sturdier to write with, the lead doesn't break as easily as some other brands we are used to and the colors are cool too....(she made sure I added that part in my review). She let her friends try them and they liked them as well so she gave six of them away. I am excited to have a good product for her to use for middle school writing!

The lead seems stronger and harder to break, and I liked that it comes with replacement lead if needed. My kids and I loved the bright colors that they come in and I love the little caps over the eraser. The eraser works very well at erasing any mistakes. A great quality pencil!
