AWESOME Mechanical Pencil that writes like a pen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This BIC Velocity mechanical pencil looks like a pen at first glance. I have to say when writing with it, it seems to flow as smooth as a pen also. The comfort grip on the pencil is an added bonus. When you compare writing with a standard #2. well actually there is no comparison. I will never go back to writing with a regular pencil. My kids loves these. I have a child in high school that loves using pencils but hates the feel of a regular pencil. I brought these home and he asked for them all because he loved writing with them. My kids only utilize mechanical pencils but often complain about thin, breakable lead and how uncomfortable the grip can be. Not the case with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They, by far, are the best mechanical pencils around. They are comfortable, sturdy, quality, and they come in a variety of fun colors! Looks like my family has found a winner and must have for the school year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use mechanical pencils for a few days and end up having to throw them out because they run out of eraser, lose the eraser, run out of lead and mess up after refilling, etc. I am still on the same velocity pencil I started with! So is my son! I bought so many of them! I've shared with so many people! I can't believe how wonderful this pencil is!

If there is more then just a note to jot down, we are all looking for them. They are very comfortable to use and the grip helps to keep it in the proper position. The lead is so smooth it doesn't snag. So whatever is written is much cleaner. Over all we are very happy with this product. And will continue to purchase well into the future.

They seems more sturdy & the tip doesn't break like the other brands. So far we all love sharing the colors and it makes writing more enjoyable. Very soft lead which is nice to write with - sometimes with other pencils the lead looks dark and ugly. My kids will love these for school & I already gave the coupons out to his friends too!

Bic velocity mechanical pencils have strong lead, write smoothly, erases cleanly, and the colors make them fun to write with. My son loves using them to write and draw. The extra lead they come with is a great bonus, plus they are affordable.
