MISS MY POP UP TAPE

I'm very disappointed in this roll and dispenser. I had to purchase this to replace my pop up tape as apparently it's been discontinued. Been wrapping gifts the past few evenings and I've tossed this tape as it's too flimsy and doesn't cut easily. Epic Fail Scotch Brands...Epic Fail. I want my pop up refills!! Bring them back!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved this product for hands free wrapping. Now it seems to be no longer available. Really sorry to see it go, especially in the busy holiday wrapping season.

LOVE this Giftwrap Tape! - Virtually Undetectable!

This is my most favorite Scotch Brand tape of all! This giftwrap tape has a strong invisible seal and is virtually undetectable!!! Scotch brand tape is the ONLY tape I use and trust for all my gift wrapping needs! This gift wrap tape holds up so well that I used it to make and hold together my wrapping paper ballgown (which I created for the Ellen Show - Most Gifted Wrapper contest). I used Scotch Brand Giftwrap tape to piece and hold together my ball gown (which was comprised of 4 separate parts) as well as, attach the tinsel garland. I used Scotch Brand Double Sided tape to attach the bows and smaller trim. (Despite how my heavy my bows and garland trims were, both types of tape held together beautifully - even when I moved and danced in my wrapping paper ball gown!) You could not even see the tape seams on my 3D wrapping paper dog! I love using this giftwrap tape especially for my holiday crafting projects and for all my gift wrapping needs. An added bonus: Scotch Tape is made in the USA! (I am a huge U.S. made product supporter!) I will only buy and use Scotch Tape - and I use A LOT of Scotch Tape!!!! #scotchbrandtheonlytapeiuseandtrust #usamade #besttapeever

Gift wrap pop up tape was the best!

Gift wrap pop up tape was the best but now I can’t seem to find it or the other pop up tape either. I now have 4 empty dispensers in my house. Is there hope of me finding them other than on eBay or should I throw these away in disappointment? Make gift wrapping so much slower without them... :(

you would think that putting an edge on the dispenser capable of cutting the tape would be obvious enough. but then you realize that youre using twice as much tape as normal and you see the genius of it.

Buy the Magic Tape instead!

I bought this Gift Wrap tape to see if it had any advantages over the traditional Scotch Magic tape. I did NOT have a good experience with this tape. The tape is so thin it wants to immediately wrap back on itself and cannot be pulled back apart. The tape did not release from the wrapping paper if you needed to reapply. The original Magic tape is many times better. I didn't originally intend on sending a negative review but the more I used this tape, the more frustrated I was. I would not buy this product again.
