I have thought in the past that "any" tape could do the job, but I was wrong!! The cheap tapes are harder to tear, they stick to you instead of where you want them to stick and it takes far more to keep packages together. I won't make that mistake ever again! It's true, what Daddy always said..."you get what you paid for"!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't get the tape to tear using the dispenser.

I bought this around Christmas and have noticed two things that I cannot stand about this tape:
1. When I try to rip the tape off, the dispenser breaks in half.
2. When I try to rip the tape off, it slides and sometimes never rips. I have to cut it with scissors instead.

Gift wrap tape shouldn't be so hard to use.

Poor design.

The tape is hard to tear off on the new dispenser design. Its very aggravating! It constantly stretches out 5 inches instead of a clean tear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way it holds

Bought it for wrapping presents for the umpteenth year, buy it every year even though there are frustrations that escalate…keep thinking it’ll be solved each year but no. It curls up and will stick to itself and there I sit with another piece of wasted tape…and we all know the amount of tape needed especially at Christmas is a lot. I get so upset over all the money I spend on tape and then see all the tape in a pile cause it stuck to itself and I couldn’t use it. I want to give it another try this Christmas hoping and praying it’s improved and I’m not just losing even more money this year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still no refill option?!

Have been using this tape for years and still waiting for a refill option to be released. Myself and others I know will likely stop purchasing if refills do not become an option soon. I am very shocked this has not been addressed already considering the immense waste of plastic required for a single roll of tape. You will probably have more people purchase this tape if the opportunity to purchase it without a dispenser was available.

Good tape, packaging bad for the earth.

Great tape for wrapping, but the dispenser is WAY TOO small and runs out quickly. What a waste of plastic. Put a bigger, full roll of tape in the dispenser. Better yet, sell one dispenser and add a couple refill rolls. STOP putting more plastic into the world than has to be. I would buy this type and brand exclusively if you made it more earth friendly.

It's a struggle to wrap a neat, presentable package when you have to let go of the paper seam to coax a piece of tape to tear cleanly with a hand held dispenser, and the tape adhesive is so strong it lifts a desk top dispenser so you still have to use two hands! Pop Up tape was the PERFECT solution to this issue! It was so easy to use I gave it as gifts to family & friends - they all loved it!!!
