These folders are very light-weight and not suitable for holding up in filing cabinet drawers with frequent handling which is what I needed them for.

I want to write a review because I can’t believe the one star reviews said these folders were flimsy. For me they are actually slightly heavier than I would like. Also one star reviews said they were too dark. I actually would have preferred dark milk chocolate colored as they appear in the photo. I am keeping them because they meet my needs better than any other folders that I could find. I love using a bright white peel & stick label to write on. Then I can reuse them without damage. They look nice. The Manila files always gave me paper cuts. These don’t as they are softer on the edges not sharp. The only reason I say 4.5 stars is the color. They are basically raw paper color as stated in the add but again the picture looks more cocoa than grayish as they arrived.

So far they seem to be very comparable to any of the other file folders I have used over the years. Hopefully they continue to hold up with repeated handling.

I love using something that has been 100% recycled. I had to get these and will reuse for as long as i can before recycling again! Wish all of them were made this way! Thank you staples for offering a green option!

how do you get 400 characters in a comment about recycled file folders they are good for the enviornment as they are out of recycled material so that is great but what else is there to say they were a great price or value for the money this is two hundred characters and this is all I have to say so now I just keep typing to get to the four hundred characters to get the five bonus points for filling this out what a waist of time whan it could all be said in two hundred characters you should lower the request.

Great for sorting and organizing papers. Fits in standard hanging three or four drawer file cabinet.
