Great Product with some limitations

I purchased these for a non-profit Animal Rescue group. The 100ct pack was cheaper than a 50ct of standard manila 3 tab file folders We use them for information sheets for each animal we rescue; general description and vet records needed for adoptions. Since there are only 3-5 pages per animal the folders don't need to be heavy duty for us. These are perfect for our needs and I love that they are made from post-consumer recycled paper thereby saving natural resources. I would not recommend these for an office that has a lot of hard-copy files like accounting maybe? They are scored to hold 1/2" -3/4" but I'm not sure they are strong enough to handle that bulk for long term without wearing out.

Just as good as regular file folders. Better yet they're environmentally friendly!

So so file folders

Although the construction of the folders is fine the dark color makes reading writing on the tab difficult unless a white label is used.

I like them but know that they are lighter weight cardboard

I was really happy with the price and the overall quality but somebody else might want the heavy-weight type and these are not—which is fine with me—they use less recycled paper pulp and don’t take up as much room in the file cabinet though that is splitting hairs...

SustainableEarth 3 Tab File Folders

Glad to see this type of environmentally friendly product on the shelves. A great value as well. They are a little dark for writing on the tab but not a big deal just use a black pen.

Brown File Folders

These folders are sturdy and seem sturdier than the regular manila folders. They cost almost 3X as much but if you are giving back to the environment it seems worth it.

Tried them don't like them!

I would not purchase these file folders again. This was a big mistake. I can only use a black marker on the tabs. Tried other marker colors but they were not as clear. I think it's a flimsy folder. Hard to see tabs and writing on the tabs in the file drawer.
