B&W text? OK. Color graphics? TERRIBLE

These run through my RICOH MP C3503 printer via the bypass tray just fine, but they are no good for color graphics. The colors are pale and extremely un-vibrant. Yes, I have chosen the "labels" setting for the paper. I then tried choosing something a bit "toothier" like cardstock. The colors were definitely more vibrant with that setting, but the print quality was terrible with skipped spots and smudging. I have fooled around with multiple color settings for the printer, but it's always the same. Faded, pale graphics with no punch. IF you are only using these for B/W text like a shipping label, you'll be happy. But if you were planning on anything more than that, don't bother. PS: If anyone at Avery has a "magic bullet" for better color graphics with these, please let me know because I haven't found it yet.
