Staples colored top-tab file are strong and the red color is bold enough to stand out to find amoung other colors.

Staples® Colored Top-Tab File Folders

The Staples file folders are just as good a folder as any other. I use a lots of the folders in various colors and have never had a problem with them. I like that the file folders match the colors of the hanging folders so my files are color coordinator. The first time I write the file name right on the folder and than after that because I reuse them many times I use an address type label to cover the previous name. After about 5-8 labels I will peel them off and start again. You can't go wrong using Staples colored top tab file folders 1/3 cut letter size.

Would prefer slightly different colors

I like the variety. However I prefer the pack that has the sort of chaparral colors the colors that one finds in the San Gabriel mountains above La Crescenta and La Canada (CA) . So the red is a bit stark less so for the blue. So I would have selected somewhat different tones for the colors. .

I have found these file folders to be reasonable and yet long lasting. I use them in a filing system that gets a lot of use and they hold up well.
