It could not have been easier!

I downloaded the Avery Design & Print software. Selected the product, imported a graphic, added text and printed to plain paper. Held the plain paper up to the light behind the business card stock. Looked good, printed. Flipped the page and inserted a QR (Scan) for our home page and printed again to pain paper. Looked good, printed 5 sheets of cards front and back. On the card stock it says which way to feed, also front and back.
Pros: Doesn't Jam, Good Value, Professional Weight

The Dirty Bomb of Paper Jams
on March 18, 2021

In addition to the joy that is a template that does not actually line up with the product, printing using the recommended settings is a disaster. I followed the directions exactly and had to use TWELVE sheets to get FOUR that were usable. Absolutely ridiculous.
If you call it cardstock, it will feed too exuberantly and pull anything and everything through with it. Maybe not a big deal if you have a top feed to send one sheet through at a time, disaster if you have a tray. When it jams, and it will, the paper pulls apart and turns into shrapnel in the guts of your printer. It is a massive pain to go through and try to clear the jam because of the way the cards pull apart and leave shreds behind. Save yourself the headache - just get some cardstock and a paper cutter.

I printed my own business cards because I am an artist. I used an Avery template that integrated with Word on my computer. Used one of my own artworks from my Picture file and was very pleased with the outcome. I would use Avery every time.
Pros: Professional Weight, Durable, Doesn't Jam, Good Value

Great DIY business cards!

I already had a template made up in Microsoft Word, so I didn't bother using the Avery Wizard. I wasted one sheet when I printed because the margins were off. But then I used a 0.4" top margin (and not 0.5" as it looks like the official template is set to), and the cards turned out perfect! They snapped out easily with clean edges as promised, and have a great look and feel.

Does not align with template

I ended up waisting over ten sheets due to alignment issues. Ultimately, I got the cards to print correctly but only after painstakingly modifying the template, and even with the adjustments, there is still some margin of error of 1-2mm sometimes. Despite the low cost and easy punchouts, after this pack I may just use standard card stock and cut the cards out manually.
Pros: Doesn't Jam, Bright
Cons: Flimsy

I Found My Card

This is the card I should have been using years ago. Colors are more vivid and the card feels more nearly professional than cards I have used in the past. The clean edges make it a breeze to snap off a bunch of cards with very little effort. Because I can print in smaller batches, I can update information on the cards very easily. I have not previously used both sides of the card, but that will be my next edition. That gives me one side for information and one side for advertising.

None Better

These cards come out perfectly. The micro-perforations are strong enough that I have never had an issue with the stock feeding through my printer. But they also separate so well that the card doesn't look like it was ever attached.
