Great Therapy Tool!

As a Speech Therapist, color flash cards are wonderful, but costly. Also, each set you can puchase from a catalog may not be the exact picture the child is familiar with, so being able to customize cards -especially for speech sounds like 'th" and the r-blends is wonderful. When you work with students in groups, also it is sometimes tough to play games often so the 2 cards per set is not always ideal like the box sets. With these cards you only need one, and you can also reprint any that may get lost. You can also send home the cards that need to be worked on, without fear that it won't come back. These cards are also easy to laminate using some of the business sized laminating films available, so the cards can be cleaned and sanitized and the cards will hold up better, because they won't get wet. This product is a gem. Thanks.

This card holds ink jet detail very well like tiny fonts and line art. So i can really stuff a card full of 4 point text if i like. And just like Jim Garner's character Jim Rockford in the 1970's Rockford Files TV show, i whip up several different small batches of Ink Jet Business Cards in no time, tailored for different individuals and groups.

I use these for teaching in my Bible study classes. I get the verses needed for for key points in the lesson, and hand them out beforehand. This allows the students to look up the verses and place the card ahead so they are not flipping and flopping while we wait, wasting time. I love using MS Publisher with these to prep with identity formats making them look professional.

Having recently retired I needed a small number of business cards for the several consulting services I provide. The printing companies I looked into wouldn't even consider a run of fewer than 250 cards. Custom cards with my logo and two-sided cards increased the cost significantly. I already have a drawerful of boxes of unused cards that the company I worked for provided each time my title or information or the company's wordmark or branding style changed. Looking into alternatives I found the Avery Two-Side Printable Ink Jet Clean Edge Business Cards (8771). Although I was a little skeptical about the "clean edge" claim, they sounded like just what I needed. And they were. Moreover, the clean edge claim was not just hype. I've used them for the two kinds of business cards I needed and recently to create customized Christmas gift tags. Colors print true, and two-sided printing is easy even on a duplex printer. I had been concerned that having run a sheet through the printer once the scoring would have weakened and the sheet begin to come apart while printing the second side. The geniuses who designed the "Clean Edge" technology did it just right. A great product.

The software was a bit awkward a first, but I got the hang of it and they resulting cards were really nice looking. I was out of work at the time and needed contact-style cards to leave at job fairs etc., and these allowed me to present a tasteful image.
