Awesome & Versatile Product

I design/create custom jewelry & I prefer to make my own business cards. I've been using Avery products for 25 years and have never had a single problem! Very simply: follow the directions & Avery's suggestions especially this one: "Print a test page to see if the alignment is correct before you print on the cardstock."
I usually use Word to design my cards & when printed the images are clear, the color is brilliant, the text easy to read, and since both front & back can be used I can put a little more info about the elements I use in my pieces as well as my contact information. I also use them for earring cards designed/printed in portrait which has details of the earrings & of course my info; I fold the bottom edge to make a display stand if the earrings aren't too heavy it works out beautifully. Sometimes we're in too much of a hurry to do things, you'd be amazed at how uncomplicated things get if the pace is just slowed down a bit. just saying...

Template and paper product do not line up - manufacturing inconsistency

The dimensions and guidelines on the s/w template make perfect sense for the 8.5 x 11 page, using a .75" for the left and right margins. Unfortunately the margins on the actual product stock vary from the .75" page by page enough that the differences make elements noticeably uncentered on the card.
I wanted some design elements near the card edges with a consistent distance from the actual edge. Because of the inconsistent measurements within the same product package, it was impossible to achieve. It isn't the printer. The seams location are not the same sheet to sheet. Wasted too much time with this product. Shame for the sheet to sheet inconsistency...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works perfectly, cards came out great!

I had no issues printing the business cards (I only printed single sided).
Maybe the people who are having problems are using the wrong template, or maybe they are trying to print with a laser printer on the paper meant for use with an inkjet printer (or vice versa). Or, perhaps they are not following some of the suggestions included with the business cards, such as changing the paper type and print quality settings.
I have an Epson MFC-J680DW printer. In some specs I found for the print, it says you should only use ~ 34 pound card stock. Elsewhere, I found that the Avery Business cards are about 90 pound. Fortunately, this did not seem to cause any issues for me, but I only printed one page at a time.
The cards I printed included blue and black text, as well as a dark blue, blue and white "PMP" logo provided by PMI. The print on the cards is crisp and clean, no bleeding of colors or the ink or any other imperfections that might make these look like they were printed at home. Really happy with the result.

Don't Bother

Purchased this for a quick promotion for my company. HUGE waste of time. Avery used to be great, but this wouldn't print right. The Online wizard printed such blurry images I couldn't use them, and they insisted that I used PDF's to print, which could not be adjusted in the margins. This was a problem start to finish. Tried to use the Word template, but again would not print. I was far better off paying a few dollars more and having cards printed at my local print shop. This was not worth my time at all.
Cons: Poor Printing Quality, Expensive for quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The PDF's margins cannot be adjusted once they are converted into a PDF file but you can adjust the print margins before the file is converted into a PDF. There should be an option to make printer adjustments on the final step of our Design & Print software. We do apologize if our support team did not make you aware of that tool. If you contact our consumer care center they should be able to walk you through that option.

So frustrated with this product

I bought these business cards in 2015. Wanted to design my own. Encountered all kinds of frustration with much trial and error. Put the pack away. Two years later I have it out again, hoping that the design tools have been improved. Still not able to navigate or easily put my logo into the area. Avery says "100% satisfaction Guaranteed" with no contact information to do so.
Cons: Not enough personalization options, Poor Printing Quality, Expensive for quality

Clearly NOT Two-Side Printable

Printed my two-sided business cards out on this paper and the back didn't set. The ink smears very easily. Waste of money.

Sorry to hear that! We would recommend double-checking that the paper or media type settings in your printer options are set to print on cardstock or photo paper. The default setting, even on a compatible printer, may be feeding the sheet through too quickly. But also please call our consumer care center at (800) GO AVERY so that they can make sure that your pack was not defective. We should be able to replace this pack for you if the sheets were manufactured incorrectly.
