[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This truly is a break resistant lead. I have dropped this pencil multiple times from the counter with the lead out, and it has not broken the 1st time. My kids have used it and not broken it. I feel like it lives up to its name.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Bic Break -Resistant mechanical pencil. I love using mechanical pencils. And I felt this is one of my favorite ones. It's true the lead doesn't break as easy as some other brands. I use this pencil all the time. I love it.
