[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the BIC Break-Resistant mechanical pencils is a better pencil than others that I have used. This pencil is easy to hold. I was writing for a long time before the lead broke. When school starts this fall, I will be buying this pencil for my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave it to my daughter to use. She did not care for it. She said the lead kept breaking and was a pain. I don't know if she was just pushing on it to hard she said she wasn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lead is pretty thick and does not break easily which is a good thing. They write dark and nicely even smoothly. The clip was a little shaky but not overly so. I loved the colorful erasers. I do recommend and will buy as I am a para professional at a school.

Writing is not as smooth as I would like, but I do appreciate being able to write a good bit without worrying about the lead breaking halfway through the first stroke of a letter. The eraser works well also and it is neat that the eraser can be wound up and down on the pencil.
