[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't use mechanical pencils due to how delicate the lead is. It eventually became to frustrating and I gave up on pencils all together ( I always used mechanical and not traditional pencils because I don't care to continuously sharpen them ). This BIC Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencil is awesome! The lead is definitely 75%+ stronger and only broke a couple of times when I made the lead a bit too long. Other than that, I have no issues with the lead breaking. The pencil is a larger size than most, which is great because I have horrible arthritis that makes gripping any writing utensil difficult. The eraser even lasts longer than usual. The lead glides on paper so smoothly, and the lead doesn't wear down quickly. I will now use pencils again, only if they are the BIC Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencil.
