[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main complaint about regular mechanical pencils is that because I tend to press down pretty hard when I write, I was constantly having to replace the leads when they broke. This pencil worked wonders in eliminating that problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I liked the look and feel of the Bic Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencil, I had to laugh because not only was the lead breaking the first thing that happened when I tried to go use it, but the pencil exterior itself also broke. I do not know if the problem originated in shipping - not protecting it enough, or what but the pencil was in its original packaging and did not appear to have any damage upon receipt.
