[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a pencil these worked really well. The lead advances easily and the writing is smooth. The break resistance did not stand up to my son who I let borrow one and received back workout the clip. He is notorious for snapping those off and I would have given 5 stars if he hadn't succeeded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the BIC break resistant mechanical pencil. I always got aggravated when I’d be writing with a mechanical pencil and the lead would break but with this one, I never have to worry about that again!
