[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mechanical pencils but the tendency to break repeatedly is a major annoyance. I was able to apply the normal amount of pressure on this device as I would a #2 pencil without constant breakage. It will still nteak, but it seems to be stronger- perhaps thicker than traditional mechanical pencils of old. I also liked the way the pencil felt in my hand, the rubbing seems to be more textured than before which allowed me to get a good grip on the pencil without it slipping or feeling uncomfortable. The contoured shape was ergonomic and less tiring when writing for long periods of time. The eraser also performed well, erasing smudges, mistakes and doodles with ease. This is a definite improvement that was much needed for the mechanical pencil.
