This was just what I needed. I bought this to use as a marching band dot journal and is the perfect size. Since they are index cards the direction of the lines works much better than a mini notebook. Since it comes as a 3 pack I used the other two for flash cards for studying for school. The spiral bound makes it easy to keep notecards in the correct order and keep groups of notecards together. The perforation lets you take cards out of the set if you need it separate from the rest. It’s great.

Staples 4"X6" Ruled Whi Index Cards

I am a budding writer and I use these Index cards for my Book Characters. I use them to note characters names attributes life information. Very handy when writing stories. Each book has their own card-dex. thats way I use so many of them. Sometimes I reference these index books to make sure that I don't cross over characters into other books accidentally.
