Powerful mailing tool

I have used these Avery labels for many years. In fact, I wrote a mail merge script for Microsoft Word 2.0 to combine the addresses from an Excel spreadsheet into the proper format for mailing, and output them on an old Apple Laserwriter. They fed nicely, without jams, and were just the right size for pasting on envelopes for mailing to a lot of people. They're really handy for traveling too. Print out your family's names and addresses and take a few sheets along with you on a trip. Then you can stick them to postcards or letters home, or even packages to avoid having to lug their gifts back in your suitcase. Saves the hassle of hand-addressing everything. Avery's handy templates are great for this. You just type all the names and addresses right in each label and you're ready to print. I still use Avery mailing labels for regular mailings. I can keep an Excel spreadsheet up-to-date with addresses for my group and print labels with just a few mouse clicks. Very handy and powerful.

wonderful multitasker

We use these in my office for so many things! Of course they are great address labels, but I also use them to put tags in books indicating who owns the books, to label equipment, and to label folders. They are easy to print and use

Nobody Does It Better!!

I bet you've all heard that saying before but just when you think things can't get any better, Avery does it again! I LOVED when they came out with the machine where you could load the sheet of labels and it would advance the labels row by row, separate them from the backing, and you simply pulled the label from the machine and affixed it. Then they came out with the Easy Labels that would peel apart column by column and that was simple ... unless you had not used the whole sheet because it couldn't be loaded into the printer again. To which Avery responded, "we'll have no more of that" and they went back to the drawing board and here they come again with easy peel labels that CAN be fed through the printer again!!! You guys are 'DA BOMB' and I love, Love, LOVE Avery!!!

Good labels but bad templates

I've used these labels for quite awhile as well as other labels from Avery. The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars are the templates. I use MS Word when creating labels and when I use the templates all, and I mean all, the the different types of labels I use tend to not line up at the bottoms of the pages. What I then have to do is go back and manually insert or delete line spaces to make them fit, especially if I'm printing lots of pages of labels. I've had this problem using several different computers, both laser and inkjet printers, and several versions of MS Word. My conclusion is that the templates for some reason do not adjust well to my printers. My colleagues have some of the same problems when they use the templates on their printers so it seems I'm not the only one to have this problem and conclude that it's the template.

The templates have made it so much easier to use the products. The stickers stick and are on quality paper. My printer ink never smears on your labels, thanks!
