Why doesn’t some company package staples to match stapler capacity?

Staples...meh right? You’d think the manufacturers would have figured out by now that they do us a disservice by bundling those groups of staples in lengths that are too long to fit the staplers most businesses and homes use these days! You wind up having to break the bundle then having to figure out how to store the 1/4 of it or so that’s left over until you need it...AND THEN after doing this several times you have to figure out how to load the stapler with all of these leftover end bundles and have it still work reliably which it almost never does! Somebody PLEASE start packaging staples so that when the stapler runs out we can just open it up pop in a group of the right length to fit and go on about our merry way! Stop leaving us with all of these odds and ends!
