Goodbye I Phones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listening to how much our son was excited talking about his newly purchased Fold 5 . We have purchased 3 I-phones, prior to him going back to Samsung. (personally I have a Samsung) Currently, I have an Ultra S 22 5G. I tried numerous times to talk our son into me trading our 22 in for a 23 or a Fold 5 without any such luck. He's the one with all the knowledge about the differences.

Solid device with room to improve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're familiar with Samsung smart phones, this phone will feel familiar but with an exciting foldable screen. I have no complaints over speed or battery life. Build quality is great as i would expect from Samsung. Screen is pretty too look at.
Improvement areas. Weird aspect ratios make the experience feel unrefined. Just make the fold screen something i can watch movies without a black bar. Super long screen in front is awkward and still requires 2 hands to use. Change the dimensions of the device to feel like a normal phone on outside and tablet on the inside. I had issues with wifi6e, the device kept reconnecting. Seems like Lte, 5g, lte+ would constantly keep switching however that may be my location. Spen case makes the phone thick. I wish it was just built in to phone. Cameras could use improving a they're not as good as the s22/23 line

The amount of things I can just do from this phone that I couldn't do on my old one is amazing to me. My productivity is up and not having to worry about walking around trying to do things with my laptop is awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't get me wrong. I love Samsung as well as their fold series. However, I just received the 5 and I'm not sure I see a single difference from the 4. Samsung used to be good at new fun options even if they didn't last. Now.... nothing. Which is why I gave the 4 star. The phone itself as far as ease and uniqueness as well as durability would get a 6 star rate if it was simply the phone itself and not other factors.

My First Folding Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was curious about foldables since they first showing up. Well, after using my Fold 5 for the past couple of days, I can say it's everything I wanted in a phone.
While most people lament the small cover screen, I find it to be perfect. It is easy to hold with one hand and while typing can be cramped, it's manageable (this review is written on the cover screen haha). Then, when I am sitting or relaxing, the inner screen and dual speakers make for a great entertainment experience.
I am still figuring out ways to fully utilize all the features of this phone, but like what I see so far.
