ALMOST Great, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have upgraded every few years since the infamous (and my favorite) Note 8. What I love about the fold is the massive real estate of the screen and the brilliant display. This alone makes everything else seem like a minor issue, and is great when wanting to share photos with a group, share ideas, type using the large keyboard (great for large hands, and those like myself whose vision isn't what it once was). The phone works well, has the latest UI updates and is as fast as they come. The battery life is very good
The few features that you'll want to look at more closely though if you are looking to upgrade to this, are how much the folding display bothers you. There is definitely a visible line where the screen unfolds. For the most part, it doesn't distort anything, but depending on the angle and brightness, it can be seen, but isn't obtrusive. With a bright screen, the seam line disappears.
The phone is thicker than most. That also means it is, or at a minimum feels heavier. Again, if you are a front pocket person, not a huge deal. If you are a back pocket person, try before you buy. Depending on your level of rear 'cush' ;), you may find it too thick.
When folded, you have a single front display (the double-wide display is separate and inside). When I try typing on that smaller than usual screen, I make tons of mistakes trying to hit the small letters on the tiny keyboard.
Unfortunately, the cameras are a step down from the S23 Ultra, with far less zoom

The big screen is awesome and the phone has so many options to use. The camera is great when people can see themselves when I take pictures they love it!!
