While this coffee was good I found it to be a bit bitter or strong for me. I've had other dark roast before and this one just seemed too strong. Even when adding creamer wasn't enough.

Quality and Convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pick Me Up Provisions French Blend Dark Roast did not disappoint!! I have tried many different coffee pod French roasts with mediocre results. I assumed this would be similar but it was a pleasant surprise! I really enjoyed the deep flavor of this roast. I am one who enjoys coffee with sweet creamer but I don’t want to drink creamer water. This French roast was so bold that I could taste the dark roast through the creamer which is my ultimate goal! Upon brewing even the aroma was different than I was used to in a pick-me-up kind of way! I love the convenience of K-cups so this hit the mark! One thing I will caution is that when I initially opened the box using the little tab you’re supposed to push I pushed the tab and my thumb went right through the top of one of the K-cups that was on the other side and coffee grounds went everywhere. It was shocking and a little sad now that I know I truly enjoy this blend and I have one less cup to drink. I highly recommend this French blend dark roast if you enjoy quality dark roasts with the convenience of the K-cup! I can honestly say this is my new preferred K-cup coffee!

Roasty Toasty at Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee brews up dark with a rich roasty aroma akin to that of a French Press poured coffee. Perfect for these chilly winter mornings! With notes of dark chocolate covered hazelnuts on the nose these showed up subtly in taste so as not to overpower the good roasty notes. For those with a Keurig that has an option to brew strong this brew brought out the flavors even more. While many Keurig’s have the 10oz option that size brew lost some of the rich roastiness so it seems best to stick with the 8oz brew. I received this coffee from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
