Hanging File Folders

I like the folders very much. However I do not like the tabs for labeling the folders. I may not be attaching them correctly but they do not stay securely on the folders and I find that I'm constantly having to reattach them==which is not only inefficient but a big nuisance. I'd appreciate some instruction on how to attach the plastic label holders to the top of the folders so they don't constantly fall off and get lost in or between the files. There was no instruction sheet with them. One other thought: I thought I was getting a 5-file accordian style folder but I got 25 separate files. Was that a mistake?
